It is time to start planning for the 2023-2024 school year! On Thursday, March 9th, parent information sessions will be held in the New Kent Middle School Auditorium to review the New Kent Middle School Course offerings for the upcoming school year. This information will be presented by Ms. Addison, rising 6th grade school counselor, to provide a detailed explanation of how courses will be requested for the upcoming school year.
Two sessions will be offered on Thursday, March 9th:
6:00 - 7:00 pm - Students Last Names A-K
7:00 - 8:00 pm - Students Last Names L-Y
If you are unable to attend course information night, families will have the opportunity to learn about elective opportunities and view short view clips created by our amazing teachers on the Course Information Website. The website link and detailed instructions to request courses using PowerSchool will be sent out to all families immediately following the informational sessions. The elective course request window will begin the evening of Thursday, March 9th, and will run through the end of the day on Friday, March 24th.
