Save the Date! On Tuesday, November 19th, students and parents/guardians are invited to attend a special screening of Inside Out 2. This movie night will be held from 5:30-7:30 in the New Kent Middle School Auditorium.
At this event, parents and guardians will be provided with a discussion guide that will help families navigate new and changing emotions as well as some of the social challenges that can occur during middle school. Students will be provided with reflection questions to help them think through their own emotional dashboard and the role that each of their emotions can play in their life. The movie, the student guide, and the parent guide will focus on the role that joy, sadness, anger, anxiety, embarrassment, and other core emotions play in the lives of middle school students.
This event is free of charge, and snacks will be available for purchase. Registration for this event is required and early registration is encouraged, as seating is limited. Please register yourself and your child by selecting your seats through Eventbrite by Tuesday, November 12th.
