8th Grade Students on High School Junior Varsity Teams
- 8th grade students are eligible to participate on junior varsity teams for the following spring sports: girls' soccer, boys' soccer, girls' track, and boys' track.
- These sports are governed by the VHSL and New Kent High School.

Middle School Soccer Tryout Information 8th Grade Boys
- Tryout dates : Monday (2/23) - Wednesday (2/25)
- Times : 2:15 - 4:40 p.m.
- Location : NKMS
- What to bring : Soccer shoes , shin guards and a water bottle
Middle School Baseball Tryout Information
- Tryout dates: Monday (2/9)-Wednesday (2/11)
- Times: If weather is clear: 2:30-5:30 p.m.; if weather is rainy: 5:00-8:00 p.m.
- Location: If outside, meet at the NKMS baseball field; if inside meet in the NKMS cafeteria
